What is gpodz?
gpodz is building Gee, an AI team for local and home businesses. Customer features are coming soon. The Gee demo on this website can answer questions about our plans today.
Who is it for?
Small and mid-size local and home businesses, where the owner is often the front desk. Gee is being built for the front of the business: customer questions, leads, follow-up, an owner brief and the back office.
What works today?
Only the chat on this website, which answers questions about gpodz and says it is an AI. Every other part is built but not open yet, or coming, and no customer can use it yet.
Is Gee a person?
No. Gee is an AI assistant and says so. That is live today on this website. Built but not open yet: your own Gee will say the same to your customers whenever they ask.
Will Gee replace my front desk person?
No. Coming: Gee will catch the questions that slip through and give your person fewer repeat questions. The decisions stay with you.
Can it answer my phone?
Phone answering is coming. It is not available yet. Texting is coming too.
Do I have to rebuild my website?
No. Coming: Gee is designed to work alongside your website and your tools. A reader that can read your public website for facts is built but switched off, and is not reading any website today.
Can I sell online?
An online store is built but not open yet, as an add-on. It is not the main product, and no business can use it yet.
Can I run my business from my own AI assistant?
Built but not open yet: running parts of your business from the AI assistant you already use. It is switched off today.
What does the owner brief do?
Built but not open yet: a short summary of what needs you. It sends nothing today, and its sales, leads and stock lines are not connected.
Data and trust
Does Gee save my chat?
Conversations with Gee on this website are not saved by gpodz. That is live today. How long your own Gee will keep your customers’ conversations is coming, and will be in the privacy policy.
Do you sell my data?
We never sell your data or your customers’ data. This is our policy; the published privacy policy is coming.
What if Gee gets something wrong?
It can. Gee on this website says it does not know instead of guessing, and that rule is live in this chat today. The rule that anything involving money waits for your approval is built but not open yet.
Do you hold security certifications?
No. We do not hold independent security attestations or certifications today, and no independent penetration test has been completed yet. The trust page lists the current status of each item.
What is Gee built on?
The Gee on this website is an AI assistant built on an open-weight base model, with gpodz’s own instructions and the copy of this site. We do not name the model on this site.
How do I report a security issue?
Email team@gpodz.com with Security in the subject. A separate security mailbox is not set up yet.
Buying and contact
How much does it cost?
Pricing is not published yet. We are still setting the plans and prices, so we will not guess a number. We will publish prices once they are final.
Can I try it?
Not yet, other than the chat on this website. There is no account or trial, and nothing to sign today. Email the team to say what your business needs.
Do you name your customers?
No. We are pre-launch and have no published results yet, so no customer names, logos or results appear on this site.
How do I reach a person?
Email team@gpodz.com. A person on our team reads it and replies by email. We have not set a reply time yet, so we do not promise one.
