Use live voice in the browser
Talk through the work. Review proposed actions on screen.
Before you begin
The voice control appears only when voice is enabled for your workspace. A microphone and browser permission are required.
Step by step
- Open your assistant conversation. Choose the waveform button labeled “Talk to Gee” beside the composer, not the dictation microphone.
- For live voice, read the notice and choose “Continue” when it appears. Allow microphone access when your browser asks.
- Wait for the listening status, then speak naturally. Read any connection or microphone error before trying again.
- In live voice, choose “End” to finish. If the browser speech mode is shown instead, its controls are “Start” and “Stop”.
- Return to the conversation to review proposed actions. Speaking does not approve them.
Good to know
If microphone access fails, check your browser permissions or type your next message. Voice proposes; the screen is where you approve.
